Sexy Sundays : Simplicity

So what should a guy have other than a hard on and a tub of protein. Singlets/Tank Tops, or whatever you call them. Easy to pull off and nothing is more comfortable than wearing one around especially on a scorching hot day. Which just happens to be Everyday in Malaysia, wonderful. In any case, they match with almost anything and everything you have in mind. Wear it as it is, wear a shirt over, tuck it in, our put it out, you can be sure it'll look decent.

I always believe in simplicity so I don't mind putting on a singlet/tanktop and a pair of jeans and head out, but everyone has their preferences and you might be abit more creative! I personally prefer plain designs, at the most a print on the front or back. Nothing too colorful or outstanding. But like i said, everyone has their own seperate preferences.

AND NO YOU DON'T NEED A BODY TO PULL IT OFF. It's how you wear it, not who wears it.

Aztec Prints, i consider even this abit too much design, but i still love it.

Prints + Beatles = Amazeballs.

So start getting yours! Neither is it expensive nor is it hard to find. Try to get a suitable cut for yourself cause not ALL singlets/tanktops have nice cuttings. Some just make you look like a douchebag so becareful there! Have fun

thankyou.

Fit Fridays : Serious Mass

Hello, sorry to have been missing in action for awhile. The holiday mood got to me good. Alright so 4 weeks ago, my giant bag of Optimum Nutrition : SERIOUS MASS!

This shit lives up to its name i kid you not. If you guys didn't already know, my metabolism rate is through the roof and into space. It is impossible for me to gain any weight through a regular diet and my fat percentage is 1.0-2.0%. Basically i'm a really really hard gainer! Previously i have tried True-mass, Weight Gainer and some other stuff and they all had no effect on my weight. AT ALL. But in the 3 weeks that I was on this product, i have gained 4kgs! INSANEBALLZ. Seriously, I have never been so happy to gain weight in my lifeee. The gains are pretty visible too. So yeah, to all you hard gainers out there who are finding it hard to put on weight like me, this will do the job i shit you not. But like all other things, you need discipline! Make sure you keep to your diet plan and ALWAYS take 2-3 servings a day.

This is how I personally consume the product.

i) pour some water into your tumbler.
ii) add one scoop of serious mass into the tumbler and let it set, meaning you wait a minute or two.
iii) top up the water till about 16-18oz and shake it like a polaroid picture.
iv) leave it for about 2-3 minutes and it should be good to go.

i like to let it set and leave it for a few minutes because that ensures a good mix. I don't like my drink clumpy and to feel like i'm eating the powder rather than drinking it. if you still have lumps in your shake, wait longer. Oh and btw my scoop was HUGE, i don't know if everyone gets the same but my scoop was the size of my fist!

I take it 3 times a day. Once before breakfast, once 30 minutes after my workout, and one more before i sleep. Since i usually workout 4-5 times a week, that means i take it quite a number of times a week. On days that i Don't workout, i only drink it twice.

I hope this works as well for you as it did for me. I think its an amazing product and you should definitely give it a go!

Fit Fridays: My Week

sorry i'm so late. I just got done with my exams and well, shit got cray. So like i said, i would post up my own routine and what i do during the week. After learning lots of stuff from many different people and places, i find that the routine i'm currently doing now suits me best. It took tons of trial and error but was well worth it. Like i said, no two bodies are the same and you need to find a routine that suits your own needs. Ask around on what different exercises do, what is the best way to compliment certain types of workouts, etc.

However, I feel like i borrowed most heavily from Dorian Yates. For those of you who do not know him, he's an English professional body builder and he is stacked as *&*^@. He's pretty old and wise now, and I stumbled upon his videos one day and use alot of his stuff.

alright so moving on to my week. Basically i try to work out every week day if possible and make up for the days i missed over the weekends. Meaning i should have 5 days a week of gym for the 5 different muscles i work on.

exercises are listed in chronological order :)

Monday (Chest):
i. Bench Press
ii. Incline Bench Press
iii. Dumbbell Chest Press + Dumbbell fly superset
iv. Incline Dumbbell Chest Press + Incline Dumbbell fly superset
v. Low Cable Crossovers

Tuesday (Back):
i. Pulldowns + pull-ups superset
ii. Close Grip Pulldown
iii. Seated Rows (Both the Wide Grip and Close Grip ones)
iv. Dumbbell Rows (Sometimes)
v. Deadlifts/ Roman Deadlifts

Wednesday (Legs):
-i barely do my legs nowadays because i don't have time to gym 5 days a week so i usually sacrifice my leg days. And when i do, my routine isn't well thought out and i don't think i should give any advice on this part because i lack the experience.

Thursday (Shoulders):
i. Military Press  (Both Front and Rear Shoulder, Using A Smith Machine)
ii. Dumbbell Press
iii. Upright Row
iv. Front and Side Lateral Raise
v. Shrug (alternate between barbell and dumbbell every week)

Friday (Arms, my favorite day of the week):
-I learnt from my gym partner that doing both the triceps and biceps in one session gives the best burn, and it really does. I also learned to alternate my workouts between my triceps and biceps.

i. High Pulley Straight Bar/Triangle Tricep Extension
ii. Barbell Bicep Curls (Using preacher)
iii. High Pulley Over Head Tricep Extension (using rope) + Dips superset
iv. Dumbbell bicep curls
v. High Pulley Straight Bar Reverse Tricep Extension + Overhead Dumbbell Tricep Extension superset
vi. Dumbbell Hammer Curls
vii. Close Grip Barbell Chest Press
viii. Close Grip Low Pulley Bicep Curls (using that w bar)

So that's basically my entire week. This is my staple workout, something that I do every week if i have no urge to try something new or change anything. However there are times when i feel like i wanna bulk and increase my strength, which i will then change some workouts during my Chest, Back, and Shoulders day. I will post those up next week :)

now for the most important part, the sets. I learned my method of sets from Dorian Yates' videos. So I do 3 sets total, 1st set warm up (12reps), 2nd set heavy (12reps), 3rd set high weights (8-10 reps). However, i do a 4th set most of the time if i find i have the strength, just to really kill my muscle.

That's about it, I really hope i've helped you and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.  And if you're wondering, now i do not take any supplements other than during the 1st month of when i started working out when I used Gaspari Size On : Maximum Performance. Amazing product, very noticeable increase in strength. I also have JUST started taking ON : Serious Mass because i feel i am underweight and so far, into my 1st week and there are some SERIOUS results! i will post up about that next week :)

-thankyou

Fit Fridays : Regiments

If its one thing i learned from working out is that no two body types are the same! there are an infinite combination of workout routines that might or might not suit you and the best way to get a working one, is by trial and error.

i started out doing the usual, hitting high reps, trying to increase my weights, going as heavy as my balls could possible withstand. You know, the usual. I only focused on my arms and my chest, everyday it was either arm or chest. And after months and months of gymming, I was going no where. Till i met a good friend of mine who thought me the error of my ways and taught me ALOT of things. Here are some of the things i've learned:

1) ALL-ROUNDER
Always workout the entire body! Never hope to build just your biceps or your triceps or your buttceps. NEVER. Almost every type of exercise out there uses more than the focus muscle and requires strength from many other muscles. So to really gain strength in your exercises, be balanced and work on the rest of your body as well!

2)SUPERSETS
Supersets, will tear your shit up. A superset is a combination of 2 or more types of exercises in one 'Routine'. For example, 12reps of tricep pulldowns + 12reps of dips = 1 set of workout. I feel that supersets really help shape your muscles and give it definition as it increases your heart-rate and burns off fat much quicker than weight-oriented exercises.

3)DEADLIFTS vs SQUATS

want to bulk up and gain mass? here's your ticket. Studies have shown that 'Squatz' and 'Deadliftz' release the most amount of hormones into the body which facilitates muscle growth. Furthermore, these two exercises are also paramount to gaining strength. My bench-presses and bicep-curls increase dramatically after i started dead-lifting. Plus, without working on your lower back, you might encounter spinal issues at older ages due to wear-and-tear.

There are loads of other things that i have learnt over the course of my gymming experience. It may not be much but it has certainly helped me and i want nothing more than to share this knowledge. At the risk of making this post abit to lengthy i shall stop here and continue next Friday where i'll expand on this topic, as well as post up my personal routines! Lastly, these are strictly MY personal opinion and you have any input, or noticed that i have slipped my shit, please do let me now. Thank you

Shaky

Bersih 3.0 - watching the videos and listening to the news just puts into perspective what a 'developing nation' really means. The little riots, the violence here and there, the everyday inconcludable debates, the sudden uprising of the minorities, and the promise of a better tomorrow. It is certain that although all these things have their own impacts, however good or bad, they all lead to the bigger picture. Change. I wouldn't call it a revolution for it carries too strong a meaning. But Change, is a definite outcome.

As mortifying as it may seem to see your own county face such problems in the everyday news, it should come as no surprise. At only a young tender age of 55 years, Malaysia is bound to experience many a turbulent time to come. Many mistakes that need to be made so that we may learn. Many lives to be lost so that we may cherish. Tougher times that need to come and past, so that we may unite. ASSUMING that America, a 'first world country', is a perfect example of where Malaysia should aim to stand, then boy do we have a long journey ahead. It took America more than 230 years to vote it's first 'Black' president into the Whitehouse. Yes, we have a long way to go.

Do not give up hope in this country, for the only way for a better tomorrow is a to open your eyes to today. Don't get me wrong, i am not asking you to go into the streets and demand for an instant change. I am merely expressing my opinion that we are indeed New in this world and should understand that it takes Time. In the abundance of media and international news, it is easy to make a mislead judgement of the situation that we are facing. Oh yes, we live in the 21st country, what is the need for such violence and madness to call for change. Well what is the difference between what we are now, and what humans were a 100, 200 years ago. Education? Economical status? Think about it, if everyone in the world got smarter, no one is actually smarter. If everyone in the world was rich, no one is really richer. The problems they faced a 100 years ago are exactly the same as the problems now, just on a different, 'smarter' and 'richer' level. So really to me, nothing has changed and we are definitely in for some tough times.

It just scares me to see it actually happening.

Sexy Sunday : Vintage

vintage fashion to me, defines the line 'Old is Gold'. Especially in Malaysia where it is sunny more often than not, the subtle yet vibrant vintage colors are really easy to pull off and fun to match. You can do just about anything with vintage colors, from bags, shirts, pants, shorts, watches, sunglasses, right down to the underwear you have on. One thing about the colors is that you really can't go wrong mixing the colors unless you have really bad color coordination and/or are color blind! Here are two examples of a vintage color palette:

Vintage Color Palette #1

Vintage Color Palette #2

as you can see, they're really vibrant yet subdued. They don't attract TOO much attention but still make a statement. Especially if you get it right! My personal favorites are the blue and brown/olive shades, brown being easier to match cause i'm Chinese like that.

simplicity is a virtue! I didn't want to over do the vintage look so i just topped it off with a simple white shirt.

if you have the guts and the flare to pull off more daring colors, DO IT! i just prefer a more subtle look. If you wanna know where my stuff are from just leave a comment

Another thing about vintage looks are.. CHINOS! every guy should have a pair of chinos, whether it be pink, purple, black, blue or all the colors in spectrum. You Must Have Chinos. It is extremely easy to pull off and when used with a bit of creativity can do wonders!

chinos chinos chinos

moar chinos!

seriously, get a pair. it doesn't have to be expensive or be from a super high end brand, just as long as it looks like a pair of chinos :) wear a singlet, a tshirt, a buttoned shirt, a blazer, vest, cardigan, WHATEVER, and it'll go well! Goodluck with your

Dear Lord,

thank you, for the most amazing and wonderful 40 months of my life. Nothing will replace the experience and the memories. The love and the lost. The joy and the pain. The ups and the downs. Never will i forget, nor will i regret. Lord, you have tested me and I have failed. I don't deserve such a blessing, and i won't ask for another. Not till I am absolutely sure I am ready to retake the test.

You have taught me more than i could ever hope to learn. You have brought to light a part of me i would never have seen on my own. My mistakes and my flaws, my good and my bad. You were there when everyone else was not. You were there when i looked for others. You were there no matter what. I don't know how to explain such selflessness. Such devotion and care. I just cannot find the words. I thank you lord, for showing me such a human being, and I am sorry. I am sorry for taking your wonderful creation, one of your angels, and making her human. I am sorry for making her hate and despise. I am sorry for making her feel anything less than an angel.

i am so sorry, and i will not ask for another.

Night Out : MASH@Ecoba

Ecoba recently had an Open Mic Night event to raise funds for Alda Evan Tan, a 29 year old musician who recently had pretty serious brain complications that required surgery. Read More Here. My friend performed that night and we decided to have a good night out and show our support to both my friend and Alda Evan Tan. Alda recently underwent surgery and if I am not wrong, is showing signs of recovery. May everything turn out alright for him and his family. Our prayers are with you.

Fit Fridays

Warning 18SX
(will not be accountable for any mental scarring)

Okay yes i'm sorry i'm a little late. This was supposed to be up last Friday but I've been so swamped with work lately, and the semester is coming to an end which just multiplies the shitfulness of it all. But finally, here it is, workout tip #1

want a Greek Godlike Physique like Mr.Manly Man over here?

then I have one simple and effective tip for you!

Go To Gym With A Boner

it has been scientifically proven that during an erection, hormones rush through the entire body, acting as a natural steroid therefore promoting muscle growth. So you wanna get Jacked bro? Jack it up! With your erection activated, you will notice your strength increases in leaps and bounds!

Skeptical about such fuckery, i had to try it out for myself! Before, i was unable to lift even the bar up.  However, after a 30 minute video of two hot women talking about their feelings, my mega boner was activated and I could lift the bar plus 20kgs! That's an amazing 678% increase in strength!

A-A-A-Amazing!

This is how a boner induced workout frenzy should look like, notice the mega boner

If you still don't believe me, read on!

My pitiful girl-like strength didn't even allow me to pull myself up and this was morbidly depressing. Determined to lift myself off the ground one way or another, i resorted to massive boner induced strength.

Before : Me and my depressed self :(

One look at this, and BOOM! I feel an instant tightening of my muscles and a rush of man hormones coursing through my veins!

Never have i soared to such heights! I-I-I-Incredible!
Still don't believe me?

BOOM, muscle P-P-P-Powerrrr!

So if you ever feel like you're too weak or incapable, just remember! 'Hard On for Hard Strength!' If you need any help or are unsure of any of the methods, please do not hesitate to inquire. If you ever need any material for your 'gymming' purposes, feel free to approach me. I am always finding new things that get me excited and I am more than willing to share!

"Hard On for Hard Strength!"

okay in all seriousness, go and search this shit up. You will shit bricks.

thank you

Sexy Sunday (Delayed)

Fashion Tip #1 : Law of Proportionality (Guys)

hot day outside? feeling a little skimpy? maybe you just like the wind in your armpits. Whatever the reason may be, if you decide to wear that new indi-looking singlet of yours out, remember to follow the

Law Of Proportionality.

never show or expose more than between 25-50% of skin. Always keep skin exposure to a minimum unless you're:

out to wiggle around town,

about to kill someone in a wrestling match,

or going to the beach.

Otherwise, please do keep to the numbers. Anything more than that and you're just waiting to be raped by Spandex Santa. Stay between the range and it shows that you have style and decency, and you're not an attention whore. For example,

proportionately exposed

No no no no.

always keep this in mind and you'll be good to go. Singlets are easy to match and unless you have really bad color coordination, should be impossible for you to get the look wrong. Conversely, in this really hot country, covering up more than 25% of your body is just impractical. Not shunned upon, but impractical. So stay safe kids, and remember to get your Marilyn Monroe singlets. Everyone should have one :) Stay tuned for Fit Friday! And by the way, like I said at the beginning of this blog, take every post with a pinch of salt!

thank you

Apologies

i'm so sorry but the Sexy Sunday post is to be postponed! it'll be up either today or tomorrow. Have a wonderful week ahead!

Singapore 2012

yes yes, this is pretty damn overdue. Better late than never :) Headed down to Singapore a few weeks back to checkout the Marina Bay Sands and Universal Studios. Honestly i don't know what i'm doing back here in Malaysia. I tried drowning myself in the pool so I could at least die a Singaporean death but i guess that didn't work out.

nojEy,

Family Tradition : Popiah Day! Got so stuffed on hand-rolled, meat filled skin goodness.

Universal Studios! Didn't have much thrilling rides but the place is nice in general

Shrek's Castle, where these two ogres belong nyhehehehe

Most Thrilling ride in the park, Battleship Galactica! That's me and Adeline in the front, left most with my sexy barefeet.

Hands down the best and most original ride ever. Transformers! visuals are mindblowing! If you are a fan of Transformers, i highly recommend that you go for this ride. It Is Insane.

Just me and the ladies, you know, doing ma thang. Hahahaha.

"Dude, i think it's time for you to come down".

View of Singapore from MSB at night is breath taking. Especially once you've had a few drinks.

Panoramic View.

just eloquently and flamboyantly chilling.

This was when i tried to drown myself. Next time i go to Singapore i'm bringing someone else who is willing to aid in my suicide.

Sun's Out

What an exceptionally sunny day it was, no? Despite a gloomy morning, the rest of the day turned out better. I'm still trying to figure out what i really want to post on this blog. Do I want to chronologicalize my every move like i used to? Maybe i'll do abit of that and abit of everything else.

Before i start the rest of my posts, please please please PLEASE do take my blog with a pinch of salt. Some things are meant to be funny and taken as a joke. So yes, for future purposes, do enter my blog with tits as calm as the ocean.

Alright with that aside, my first order of business is Sexy Sundays (Subject to change). I'll be posting anything that has to do with clothes, looks, etc. And i have a pretty good idea for my first post.

Stay Tuned.
