Sexy Sunday : Vintage

vintage fashion to me, defines the line 'Old is Gold'. Especially in Malaysia where it is sunny more often than not, the subtle yet vibrant vintage colors are really easy to pull off and fun to match. You can do just about anything with vintage colors, from bags, shirts, pants, shorts, watches, sunglasses, right down to the underwear you have on. One thing about the colors is that you really can't go wrong mixing the colors unless you have really bad color coordination and/or are color blind! Here are two examples of a vintage color palette:

as you can see, they're really vibrant yet subdued. They don't attract TOO much attention but still make a statement. Especially if you get it right! My personal favorites are the blue and brown/olive shades, brown being easier to match cause i'm Chinese like that.

simplicity is a virtue! I didn't want to over do the vintage look so i just topped it off with a simple white shirt.

if you have the guts and the flare to pull off more daring colors, DO IT! i just prefer a more subtle look. If you wanna know where my stuff are from just leave a comment

Another thing about vintage looks are.. CHINOS! every guy should have a pair of chinos, whether it be pink, purple, black, blue or all the colors in spectrum. You Must Have Chinos. It is extremely easy to pull off and when used with a bit of creativity can do wonders!

seriously, get a pair. it doesn't have to be expensive or be from a super high end brand, just as long as it looks like a pair of chinos :) wear a singlet, a tshirt, a buttoned shirt, a blazer, vest, cardigan, WHATEVER, and it'll go well! Goodluck with your
